It was Friday night. I was thinking about my grandma, who was basically a mail-order bride, and wondering what that felt like. Meanwhile, I was keeping alive family traditions, waiting for this guy I'd met through the personals. My standards weren't going to be very high, so I was pretty sure I knew how things would turn out.
