Sorry my post is a bit half-assed today - time is not on my side. Deadlines have a way of clustering; refusing to space themselves out evenly, they congregate in unruly groups and clamor for attention. I've got about a million things to do before I head out to review Dungen's show at the Cat's Cradle tonight. Live reviews are among my favorite things to write - not only are they a nice break from the monotony of album reviews, they give me a reason to tear myself away from the computer and get my ass to the club. Searching for a unifying theme, yet lacking time to write a detailed post, I've selected a few songs from bands I'll be covering live in the next month or so. I'm guessing most of you come here first and foremost for the tunes anyway, and I've posted some terrific ones today. Hopefully next week, I'll be back with some funny personal anecdote or armchair analysis.
